Aztecs» exhibition sells out for the month on its first day of exhibition in Seoul, Korea

#SecretaríaDeCultura.- On its opening day alone, the exhibition «Aztecs: The People Who Moved the Sun», inaugurated this Monday, May 2, 2022, at the National Museum of Korea, sold out the tickets scheduled for this month.

For the Secretary of Culture of the Mexican Government, Alejandra Frausto Guerrero, this expectation is proof of the growing interest and appreciation that Mexico’s native cultures generate beyond our borders.

«A fundamental part of our policies has been to show the world the best of Mexican cultures and traditions. And in this sense, the exhibition of ‘Aztecs: the people who moved the sun’ has become a great ambassador of Mexico in other latitudes; we must not forget that it was in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and now arrives at the most important cultural and artistic precinct of the Republic of South Korea, to finish its international tour.

«Additionally, I want to acknowledge that this is a joint effort in which many institutions participate. Of course, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Mexican Embassy in Korea, and different specialists from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH),» he said.
